A famous resort in Greece that featured in the Inbetweeners Movie has banned 10,000 British holidaymakers in a bid to stop rowdy behaviour by tourists.
Malia, on the island of Crete, wants to lose its reputation as a party destination.
Greek resort has banned 10,000 Britons as it aims to attract families to the area. Most hotels are now turning away people on notorious 18-30 holiday packages.
Malia became immortalised as such in The Inbetweeners Movie, where the four young men are seen downing drinks, chasing women and engaging in some unpleasant behaviour.
Malia has become an established party town, with thousands of Brits heading there.
Pictures of semi-naked stags and hens parties pouring from bars into the streets of Malia have become a familiar sight. Now, local politicians and businesses have had enough and are cracking down on rowdy behaviour. Hoteliers in Malia have turned away no less than 10,000 customers this year alone, according to The Times.
